Sir David Smith Memorial Oration
The "Sir David Smith Memorial Oration" is an annual lecture established to honour the Society’s former chairman Sir David Smith KCVO, AO, following his passing on 15 August 2022.
The Oration serves both to honour and celebrate Sir David’s life and legacy, and to recognise and explore the virtues of Australia’s unique system of constitutional monarchy.
