The Federation Club

Australia's Federation came about through a process of intense deliberation, consultation and debate led by figures such as Sir Samuel Griffith. The culmination of numerous Federal Conventions and the referendums by which the Australian people chose to join together as a nation, Federation was achieved when the Constitution of the Commonwealth of Australia came into effect on 1 January 1901.

The Samuel Griffith Society relies upon the generous support of everyday Australians to further its mission of promoting and defending the Constitution. Without this support, the Society’s ambitious plans for membership, programming, and campus chapter growth would be impossible.

The Federation Club recognises the crucial support of major contributors to The Samuel Griffith Society. The members of the Federation Club are enabling the Society to establish itself as the pre-eminent meeting place for informed legal and public policy debate.

Membership of the Federation Club starts at $99 per annum and is available to those who contribute $1,901 or more annually to support the work of the Society.

Benefits include complimentary membership of the Society, invitations to special events, and public recognition of your support (unless otherwise requested).
